So this is cynical.
However,
I have a severe dislike of the ever present group photo. It, in addition to being awkward but for some reason necessary, is a terrible compositional risk and inevitably leaves at least 40% of your (hopefully) attractive friends and colleagues with closed eyes or in another direction altogether.
On this trip I make a loose vow to not appear in (and/or involuntarily start) a group photo op. They are dumb. Everyone should demand themselves photographed in groups of 6 or fewer (preferably full length, outdoors, properly lit).
